BWCRU GENERAL BOARD MEETING MARCH 23RD, 2009

ATTENDING: Nancy Fried, Cecily Gerla, Carole Beris, Faith Book, Fern Rod, JoAnne Goldberg, Eileen Siegel, Marcia Meyers, Lois Feldman, Arlene Levine, Haberman, Franne Dickman ABSENT: Roz Wolpov, Terry Wollins, Nessa Tarchis, Rita seiff, Marilyn Schulder, Marcia Raskin, Helene Miller, Eileen Locker, Harriet Locke, Maureen Kudler, Arlene Karyo, Tina Kart, Sandi Kanin, Lorrie Grossman, Ferne Emas, Norma Davidson, Gloria Berkowitz. The meeting was called to order by President Nancy Fried at 3:30PM in the Bridgewood Meeting Room. TREASURERS REPORT: JoAnne Goldberg reported for Eileen Locker. This month we took in $37,105.57. We spent $47,111.93. In Feb. we gave $44,150 to Pap Corps for a total to Pap Corps of $214,823 from June 2008 to March2009. EDUCATION Fern Rod: May 4th is our closing meeting. There will be no charge for the Breakfast. Dr. Christine Savage will speak on Auto Immune diseases and Rheumatology. We have contracts for 4 vendors. FUND RAISING: Faith Book. Plaques: $3,450 Feb.16th to March23rd. Tributes: $2,495 net for month. Royal Crown: 1 at $500. Pap Angels: $200. Chance For A Cure: Marcia Meyers We have $16,450 so far. Walkathon: Lois Feldman $6,700 so far. Card Party: Thanks to Sandy Konsker and Arlene Karyo and all their workers Great Day: $46,145 net. CULTURAL ARTS: April 23rd Art Tour. 30 people, Feb,13th Mack Home & Art tour tremendous success. THE ROSE: Franne Dickman Beautiful edition, great job.
