There are approximately 100 yearly members who have not yet renewed their dues. Reminder letters were sent out after Jan. 1st.

The card party will be held on March 2nd and is open to outsiders. We need to solicit gifts for the raffle. There is a letter available to give to potential donors. Lorrie Grossman told the meeting that all decorations are planned and will be accomplished at a very nominal cost.
Lois Feldman reported that letters for the Walkathon were mailed last week. There was a discussion of having a captain from each community solicit within the community but there was not consensus on doing it.
Chance for the Cure material was printed and stuffing will take place on Jan. 29th
Marcia Meyers announced that Chance for the Cure raffles have been order. However, there wont be any mailings until after the card party.
Faith reported that the Golf and Tennis Tournament had 196 golfers participating.. 280 was the total of those playing golf and participants for dinner only.
Expenses totaled $72,729 giving us a net profit of $101,936.
There was a discussion re how we can increase participation and whether or not we could incorporate outside members into the function. Faith will meet with Jay to discuss options.
Cultural Arts: Roz Wolpov
January 12th was a successful day. 60 people attended lunch and a net profit was made of $3,473.21.
90 people have signed up for Feb. 13th. Phyllis Mack and a docent will give the tour. The group will be divided in half so that participants will have the opportunity to see the art at close proximity. Lunch will be held at Trump International.
April 22nd has been cancelled as the response was light; therefore, there will be only one bus on April 22nd for the Norton tour.
The Ballet on Jan. 31st is sold out but there are two cancellations that are still available. Plans are underway for next years functions and should be set by May.
Education: Fern Rod
Nancy Fried reported in Ferns absence. To date, 73 people have signed up for the Education Breakfast on Jan. 26th. Nessa Tarchis will give the invocation followed by Nancy:place>:City> highlighting information from the Presidents meetings.
The closing meeting and Chance for the Cure will take place on May 4th. At the February meeting, well decide what well charge vendors re the cost of a table and the percentage of sales that well charge them. Apparently, pro-spective vendors have been complaining as sales are down at events and they are no longer willing to pay $150 for a table and then give back 10%. To date, there is a poor response to the Feb 5th Sylvester Health Fair.
New Business:
Shop to Earn- purchases made on line from certain stores will give us some money back as a contribution.
Other suggestions were the idea of having a good salon open on a Sunday or Monday who will give money back to the Pap Corps. Another idea was the Gospel Brunch that will be further investigated.
Other suggestions for small items to be sold were spoken about but the consensus was that its not worth our laying out money to buy a product that might not be saleable.
The next Executive Board meeting will be held on Feb. 16th.
The meeting was adjoined at 4:15 pm.
Respectfully submitted,
Carole Beris
