EXECUTIVE BOARD MINUTES – FEBRUARY 19,

The meeting
was called to order by President JoAnne Goldberg. Minutes of the January 15th
minutes was read and accepted.
Treasurer’s
Report: To date, we have given the Pap Corps $292,474.50
Cultural
Activities: Nancy Fried
The January 29th
Home Art Tour was a huge success.
The February 20th
Jazz Concert is sold out.
Next event: The March 13th
Walking Art Tour in
April 25th is the Ginger
Rogers Show at Florida Stage Theatre. Price of ticket is $55. There is no
dinner or transportation.

May 4th is Lunch and
Learn at the Culinary Institute. Contact Lois Feldmen

Coins For the Cure

Cash For Trash – We are still
collecting empty cartridges and old cell phones. We are looking for a new company that buys these items back from us. If
anyone knows of one, please contact Rosetta Melchior at 483-6577.
Pap Angel: We have 1 new angel this
month.
Card Party: 530 women attended, it
was a huge success.
License Plates: This is a Pap Corps
project. We have sold 15 plates to date. Terri Wollins
is taking orders. Her phone
number is 451-0110.
Walkathon: March 10th at
the
Chance For
The Cure: Letters will be sent out by March 9th. If
necessary, 1st class mail will be used.
Knitting project: Ongoing.
Liaison
to Pap Corps: Tutsie Lipkin.
She reported that the U/M Sylvester
Miller School of Medicine has made an alliance with FAU and the
Doner: Rita Seiff.
She stated that the Donor Luncheon
will be held on May 10th at the Diplomat Hotel in
Closing Breakfast.
This is to be held on May 7th.
Details will be discussed at the next meeting. We will not have Boutiques.
The Rose.
The Rose will be sent out early
March. Arlene Levine is working on getting publicity into the newspapers. She has been in touch with several people at
the Sun Sentinel.
New
Business:
As our Board is large, we are going
to have the next meeting at the Clubhouse of Bridgewood.
They have given us permission
to use the room.
Rita Seiff
is researching prices for golf towels that we want to sell.
Next meeting will be held on March
19 at the Bridgewood Clubhouse,
